In accordance with the agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in various fields for international students, including ▲operation of free medical treatment and health examination programs ▲information on medical consultation and the Korean medical system ▲provision of discounts for each medical department ▲joint operation of health promotion seminars and campaigns.
Kim Tae-woon, Dean of Kyungsung University Global College, said, “This agreement is a meaningful starting point for guaranteeing the right to health and supporting stable study abroad lives for international students”, and “We will continue to expand systematic support from attracting international students to settling down through cooperation with the local community.”.
In addition, Lim Jong-in, director of the health and medical support team of the Suyeongro Church Youth Self-Reliance Mentor Group, said, “It is meaningful in providing practical medical support so that international students can focus on their studies in a healthy manner even in unfamiliar environments”, “We will continue to provide support activities with the local community through continuous sharing and cooperation.”.
